Global warming, unaffordable health care, housing foreclosures, regressive taxes, lack of choice in elections... These are all critical problems that people really want to see solved. But in many cases our elected officials are not responding with any decisive action. They need to hear from the people. With this in mind, the Green-Rainbow Party of Massachusetts has launched an advisory ballot initiative that will allow voters to register their opinions with public officials this November. Advisory questions will be place on the ballot in selected districts. These questions will instruct the representative from that district to vote in favor of legislation that provides real solutions to our urgent needs.
